S12 Milan: Let ‘em Roar

Much like last season in Milan where we saw a distinct move towards the Mod 60s, for Spring 12 designers take on the Roaring 20s. So far the dropped waist flapper dress is a must-have, but there’s much more to it than that. While Gucci glams it up with metallics, fringe and dripping embellishment ideal for evening, Etro evolves the look into a full-on collection. The refreshing color palette speaks more to Spring with soft tones of beige and seafoam, and graphic expressions like mirrored arabesques take the flapper trend forward.
