Life Beyond the Tracksuit: Erin Featherston to Juicy Couture

Juicy Couture has taken on New York designer Erin Feathertson to design the Juicy Couture line until the end of 2011. The news comes after co-founders Gela Nash-Taylor and Pamela Skaist-Levy left their day-to-day responsibilities and took on non-operating roles at the company. Interesting to note that Featherston will not be involved with the design of Bird by Juicy Couture, the company’s more upscale contemporary line.

And speaking of contemporary, for which Featherston is known and counts a celebrity following, it will be interesting to see how she attempts to turn Juicy Couture into the power house it once was when it launched the iconic track suit.
