The MET’s Costume Institute Gala

The annual Costume Institute Gala was held last night at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The theme of the exhibit is “American Women” which begs me to wonder why the Anna was amongst the crowd NOT wearing an American designer. Granted she wore Chanel haute couture, which is in a class of its own, however in a year when the entire show is dedicated to American Women, and she has every American designer at her fingertips, why she would choose non-American is a little beyond. Here are my top 14 pics of attendees wearing American, plus 1 for Anna’s Chanel haute couture.
