Pap(i)er Dolls

Paper may not be the most commonly material used in fashion, though it does have its place and as of late seems to be on the cutting edge of development. If you recall, last week Alexandra Verschueren won the Grand Prize at Festival Hyères and her 3D designs which utilized paper.

Now there’s an entire exhibit dedicated to the material. Pap(i)er Fashion is currently on display in Zurich’s Museum Bellerive until August 30th. Recent designer creations on display includes garments from Chanel Haute Couture, Maison Martin Margiela and Hussein Chalayan.
