Perfect Antidote For Festivals: oneteaspoon

Since I discovered Aussie label oneteaspoon at the Bread & Butter tradeshow a few seasons back when they made their European debut, I am totally in love with the brand. Actually it’s more like a fantasy love, seeing how they totally get festival gear and I have a have 0 festivals to attend this summer. Jamie Blakely drives the brand as designer and pretty much everything else and has run oneteaspoon for the past 10 years. She practically started festival attire long before it became trendy and her line is frequently imitated. Here are some goods for S11 which will also be featured in this week’s Bread & Butter report.

Ok so while the pics aren’t stylized nearly as well as their look book online, each piece is just so ready for Glastonbury and every other festival out there that I’m continually kicking myself for NOT going to a single one of them this summer. oneteaspoon was doing cropped a long time ago and their styles are always ahead of the curve – cue the tropical prints on bleached cutoff shorts and even newer – printed twill cargo shorts! They’ve also always done a few fantastic editorial pieces like the heavily embellished pearl bodice on the dress.

So just where could you find this amazing line? oneteaspoon really took off last year in Europe and its big moment was when they were picked up for TopShop and stocked in Oxford Circus. I could only hope they’re coming to a shop in Paris sometime soon, and then I’ll really have no choice than to get myself to a festival.
