The Explosive Minimalist: Raf Simons for Jil Sander

Oh, how minimalism is having its moment. And who better to do minimal than Jil Sander? Raf Simon’s vision for the house turned out utterly beautiful, although Simons himself went for minimalism with MAXimal impact. Shocking solid brights played upon maxi silhouettes such as palazzo pants while vibrant florals or spectator stripes landed on the most voluminous maxi-dresses yet this season. The art of pairing white t-shirts with bold bottoms looked fresh, as did the color combos of say a green utility jacket, pink top and billowing yellow pants.
