Manic Monochrome at Dévastée

Prints, patterns and graphics have favored monochromatic expressions for the past few seasons. It started when times got tough and retailers were looking for safe items without much risk, and it just so happens that black + white always tends to do well at retail.

While stores right now have a fair share of monochromatics, Dévastée’s Spring 11 collection offers up new imagery to take this trend forward. The florals look freshest of all and other highlights include scenery and squiggly ghosts. It all works together in context whether florals are paired with horizontal stripes or monochromatic prints stand out against solid white or black.
