Nobody Does It Better Than Yves

Of course everyone saw the amazing Yves Saint Laurent exhibit this summer in Paris. And ultimately every designer seems to be paying homage to the late great YSL in the Spring 11 collections from iconic looks to color choices. But enough about them. A look at Stefano Pilati’s latest YSL collection proves that nobody does it better than Yves, or with as much glamorous sophistication.

It all starts with a trenchcoat.

And then a pop of color applied to a voluminous bow blouse.

Let’s not forget the jumpsuit with an erotic plunging neckline.

Perhaps Le Smoking in white, sans sleeves.

Or a 40s silhouette.

A ruffled delight.

And a sultury gown.

Leaving room for this season’s erogenous zone, the shoulders.
