Chanel’s Chalet

Karl Lagerfeld’s Fall-Winter 10/11 Chanel collection, for which he imported a giant iceberg from Scandinavia to the Grand Palais, will surely go down in history as a great fashion moment. Now there’s an even better way to experience the collection with a temporary Chanel boutique in the French Alps. The Chatlet des Pierres makes a ideal setting for all the luxurious tweeds and furs featured in the collection and the temporary store boasts a faux fur patchwork floor. Open through April 15th, the store photos are enough to make this non-skier trek to the Alps.
