It’s Red Carpet Season! Golden Globe Style

Oh, Natalie. Yes she did, just like we all expected! And she looked so pretty in her draped Viktor & Rolf draped strapless gown. Although I could take or leave the red rose behind. OK COME ON, she’s cute and pregnant so I’ll give it a pass.

After all, Nat was kind of the belle of the ball in PINK – which everyone else seemed to follow as THE COLOR of the moment (soon to appear in a prom department near you)..

But at the same time THE NUDES still have a thing going on. Which automatically also means TRANSPARENCY is here to stay (nice sleeve action too for a nice change of pace from the strapless shapes).

And speaking of here to stay.. there are more SPARKLES. Le sigh. Although I am loving the long sleeved Armani Prive gown on Anne Hathaway.

Need another color du jour? Try EMERALD GREEN. I’m sensing that this will not be the last time we see Elisabeth Moss in this color, following the likes of hmm say Julianne More.

And in case you were wondering, we’re still not done with the ONE SHOULDER silhouette. Might I say that it looks a tad old – perhaps because of the leading ladies it appears on – and going forward I would love to see the LONG SLEEVE STYLES scattered about above take over the Oscar’s in a few weeks.
