Fall 11: Return of the Printed Pants

As far as prints and pattern go, NYFW hasn’t had that many amazing moments so far (except for Rag & Bone’s mad color blocking and those crosshatched prints at Libertine). We’re currently seeing a number of printed pants at retail – mainly animal prints, thanks to the Bohemian Expedition trend.

Going into Fall 11, Rachel Comey presents a great mix of Ikat and textured prints, some of which land upon pants as a key item. At What Comes Around Goes Around – the most bohemian collection to date – we also see printed pants making a mark, well past the leopard/reptile expressions we’ve become familiar with.
