Introducing the Bell Trouser

I just knew Armani was onto something in Milan when he introduced the bell trouser. For the tailored market, it’s the perfect combination of trouser and flare/bell influence, with a fluid cuffed hem.

And then came Chanel in Paris with similar bell trouser pants and slight variations such as creased fronts and soft rolled cuffs.

But Karl also did something a little different with the bell. Chanel’s volcanic ash setting aside, a bell shape was applied to utility jumpsuits, offering a new twist on the longstanding all-in-one trend.
